Job Description Details
We are currently hiring new members for this position due to the expansion of our visual production work using versatile game engines (Unity and Unreal). You will have the opportunity to play an active role as a core member from the beginning of the team.
In this position, you will be responsible for character modeling for versatile game engines (Unity and Unreal). Character modeling, UV, texture creation, and shading adjustment are the main tasks. You will create character models based on a wide range of art images, from cel shading to realistic, with specifications optimized for game engines.
Communication skills are also important, as you will be required to share specifications and methods of creation for game engines with other staff, as well as interact with modeling and rig specialist sections.
Applications to be used
・Maya(required) + Xgen,Yeti
・Unity、 Unreal(required)
・Zbrush(required)
・Photoshop(required)
・Substance painter / Substance Designer(required)
Desired Skills
・Working experience in character modeling with versatile game engine or original game engine (required)
・Character modeling skills in a wide range of designs from cel shading to realistic (Understanding of the human body and modeling experience based on that knowledge)
・Knowledge of data specifications optimized for game engines
・Communication skills to share technical information
・Character modeling supervisor experience is preferred
・Outsourcing management experience is welcome
・Experience in hair grooming by DCC is welcome
